David Mayne
Sculptor
David Mayne is an artist who creates sculpture for homes and gardens as well as large scale architectural interventions in the public realm. His work is in collections through-out the country and his small scale steel and wood pieces are in constant demand by leading galleries and collectors.
David’s studio work is primarily inspired by landscape and wilderness areas and often combines figures or animals to create a sense of scale and place. Larger garden pieces are designed to enhance the outdoor environment and can act as focal points or subtle features that work with existing planting schemes. Both large scale site specific sculpture and custom small pieces are available to commission.
During his career, David has taught in schools and colleges across the country and worked on numerous community engagement projects. He now runs metal sculpture courses at the Sculpture Lounge through-out the year.
